Cody Johns started the Feed Sack Store with the goal of helping educate the American people of the benefits of recycling. She started by taking the bags animal food is packed in from the trash and sewing them into tote bags for her family, and eventually branched into selling the bags to show people the possibilities of reusing and recycling.

Although Cody is now studying Information Technology at the University of North Texas in Denton, she is still passionate about teaching other how they can help save the world. Over the past few years she has found numerous ways to recycle materials that normally go to the land fills. Including her newest adventure, recycling Cowgirl/Cowboy boot tops into stylish evening bags.
